On November 18, Jurors announced a guilty verdict in the case of 22-year-old Seth Cravens, who was accused of throwing the punch that proved to end the life of La Jolla, California surfer Emery Kauanui, 24, in May 2007. Cravens was convicted of second-degree murder, one count of making a criminal threat, four counts of assault, and a single count of battery.
